What an interesting blog! I stumbled on it quite by mistake in trying to find the name of a green vegetable I know from Mozambique. I found couve but so much more! Thank you. I suspect it is the same vegetable known in Zimbabwe as covo. I lived in Angola in the 1960’s and enjoyed your photographs. Famba Zvakanaka as we say in Zimbabwe – go well.
